Kind Words
"I have been following The Irritable Vegan on YouTube for the last couple of months and have found her videos refreshingly honest and inspiring. Therefore, I was super excited when I learned about her book "Got Guts?!", especially when it went on sale with enough time to test the most mouthwatering recipes before Christmas. I snuck in quite a few of her delicious side dishes into our Christmas dinner and it was a total win: They all tasted awesome, looked appetising and - best of all for me - didn't trigger any IBS symptoms.
If you suffer from IBS or have a friend or family member whose bowels are easily upset, this is the perfect source for "safe" recipes so that everyone will be able to enjoy dinner without having to fear any uncomfortable consequences."

"I should like to say Michelle aka The Irritable Vegan, has helped me make sense of the Low fodmap diet, I have suffered for 23 years since my diagnosis of IBS and I had tried for at least 10 years to manage my condition with diet, not repeating foods for 24hrs and child-size portions. but it wasn't enough. Then my gastroenterologist suggested Monash University's Australian diet. It was shocking in the elimination stage, so hungry and confused and frankly quite irritable too, but I got through that, it took me 3 years to level out though as IBS is but one of my health issues.
Reintroducing was when I looked for help on YouTube, Michelle's delivery of all the information, whilst still reminding us that this diet is personal is always timely and the recipes are delicious. Whenever I wish for something more interesting I look to The Irritable Vegan for ideas. Now I am struggling with stacking and here is Michelle to make it all much easier to understand, just being able to use the Got Guts? stacker tracker sheets are making meal planning so much easier to feel full without pain. Congratulations on the new blog! thank you for all your help so far."
