2. Use licence
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on The Irritable Vegan's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a licence, not a transfer of title, and under this licence, you may not:
- modify or copy the materials;

- attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on The Irritable Vegan's website;

- transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.
This licence shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by The Irritable Vegan at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this licence, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.
You may select one image per post to share in a freely available blogger round up, recipe round-up, gift guides, or similar. This permission does not extend to any content intended for sale, financial gain or hidden behind a paywall. You must include both an image and text link back to the individual blog post the image came from and not to our homepage. All image use must include full credit to The Irritable Vegan. You may not attempt to pass off an image or recipe as your own creation or use any image or recipe without these links and full credit.
We welcome you to share your own images of your recipe recreations with us on social media, provided the full written recipe is not publicly shared. This includes written in the description or screenshot from our ebooks or website.
If you're unsure please contact us about any usage that falls outside the scope of our terms. Any usage that doesn't comply with these terms will be invoiced at our current media rate.
3. Digital Downloads and Consumer Rights
Digital content is data that is produced and supplied in digital form. You have rights in relation to the content that you download and stream, including apps, software, ebooks, games and music. It can be content that you have paid for, received for free with a paid-for item and any content supplied on a physical medium such as a CD or DVD.
Digital content must be:
- of satisfactory quality
- fit for purpose; and
- as described by the seller
The sales page of each of our digital products offers a detailed preview of the contents. We also supply further links where you can preview a limited version of our products before purchase. These previews are designed to allow you to determine that our digital products meet your needs, are of satisfactory quality, are fit for purpose and are as described, which fulfil the legal criteria for the supply of digital products. If your digital content does not meet these criteria and develops a fault, you have the right to have your digital product repaired or replaced.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, digital downloads are neither goods nor services, meaning the law is a little different. If you want to download and use something within 14 days of buying it (what is known as the 'cooling-off period'), you will have to give your consent to waive the 14-day cooling-off period. Waiving the 14-day cooling-off period means that you have waived your consumer rights to a refund. This is to stop you from changing your mind after you have downloaded and potentially consumed the content.
Due to the instant download system we use to transmit your purchases, at this time we are unable to withhold your product for the length of the 14-day cooling-off period. This means that we are unable to offer the 14-day cooling-off period with regards to purchasing our products and are unable to offer refunds on our digital downloads.
At the point of sale, you will be required to waive the 14-day cooling period prior to being able to purchase our digital products. If you do not wish to waive your right to a 14-day cooling-off period we are unable to enter into a contract of sale with you and supply our products to you at this time.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, your rights with respect to faulty products remain unaffected.
We, the retailer, have one opportunity to replace any goods or digital content that are faulty before you can claim a refund. You can choose whether you want the goods to be repaired or replaced, but we can refuse if your choice is disproportionately expensive compared with the alternative.
You may be entitled to a partial refund in the following circumstances:
- The cost or repair/replacement is disproportionate to the value of the digital content.
- Repair/replacement is impossible.
- Repair/replacement would take unreasonably long.
- Repair has been unsuccessful.
If you don't want a refund and still want your product repaired or replaced, you have the right to request that we make further attempts at repair/replacement.
